This article is the partial result of a research done in Portuguese archives for seven months for the development of the project "Santos's Portuguese Colony: Immigration, Culture and Working Class (1880-1930)". It proposes to show some possibilities of research about the relation between labour movement and Portuguese immigration to Brazil, from begining of the century to 1930s, through the indication of contents of documents and respectives archives of Lisbon.
