This article makes some considerations about the year of 1945 as a historical period of immigration of several people in Europe who had looked for new ideais. Two types of literature were made in that period: the exile literature and the immigration literature. The first was written by intellectuals who due to political and ideological reasons seeked refuge in European countries. The second is relative to books written by Jews who took refuge from nazism and facism in Brazil during the thirties and the fourties.
