This article analizes the regulation of immigration in Brazil. In this way, the Immigration and Colonization Magazine (Revista de Imigração e Colonização), published between 1940 and 1955 by the Immigration and Colonization Council, was one of the official channels of publishing the procedures related to the entrance of immigrants.
